Materials you will need:

1. Shampoo formulated for small animals
2. Two rag towels
3. A small animal brush (bristled)
4. A hairdryer that has a low heat setting

Step 1:
Wet your guinea pig with lukewarm water.

Step 2:
Squeeze a generous amount of shampoo into your palm.

Step 3:
Rub all over your guinea pigs body except their head. (DO NOT GET THEIR EARS OR NOSE WET)

Step 4:
Once they have a good lather of soap on them rinse them off with lukewarm water.

Step 5:
Take them out of the tub and wrap them in a clean dry towel.

Step 6:
After they have been in the towel for a while and they are just damp instead of soaked, get a hairdryer and put it on its lowest heat setting. Gently go over their body with the hairdryer.

Step 7:
Go over their body with the brush when completely dry to get out any knots or tangles.
